Conjugate
Conjugate rings have characteristics of both sphere and cylindrical shape packing. Sphere shape offers good surface area to void space ratio and cylindrical surface provides low height to diameter ratio. Its shape allows higher bed heights with little deformation and low-pressure drop across the bed.
